The Manager of Business Retention and Expansion is responsible for working within a team to proactively engage with and serve existing employers to encourage both organic business expansion (job growth and capital investment) and active involvement with the Chamber’s talent agenda. The Manager is responsible for assisting employers by connecting these companies with various resources, information and/or partners who can provide needed solutions or support. The primary goal is to work with Oklahoma City area companies to help them stay and expand in the area.
Successful candidates must have:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, and/or meaningful experience in related sales, recruitment, and/or economic development activities.
- Three or more years’ experience in relevant business setting, economic development organization, or related field.
- Effective oral and written communication skills, presentation, and meeting management skills.
- Ability to engage companies both large and small and gain access to senior level executives and present yourself in a professional knowledgeable manner.
- Sound judgment and mature proactive attitude required with proven ability to close deals through solid sales and project management.
- Must be detail oriented plus possess good organizational and time management skills as this is a deadline driven position in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be a self-starter able to work with a minimum amount of supervision and within a defined organizational structure. Flexible hours and travel required.

The Content Developer will create engaging and informative content for our monthly newsletter, websites, annual publications, marketing materials and more. The ideal candidate will have excellent writing skills, a strong understanding of content marketing, and a passion for promoting the Oklahoma City business community.
Successful candidates must have:
- Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in content writing, journalism, or a related field.
- Excellent writing and editing skills, with a strong attention to detail. Knowledge of AP Style preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Canva, Google Analytics, and other digital marketing tools.
- Experience with social media management platforms like Hootsuite or Sprout Social.
- Demonstrated strong project, organizational and time management skills.
- Strong creative, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

We seek a full-time videographer with an eye for telling the compelling stories that make Oklahoma City unique. This role supports the marketing and communications efforts of Visit Oklahoma City to produce quality video and photo content from conceptualization to final editing. This individual will have subject matter expertise in visual storytelling through short- and long-form video.
Successful candidates must have:
- Bachelor’s degree and a preference given to degrees in communications, graphic design, film or electronic media or comparable experience as a professional videographer.
- Minimum of five years of experience working specifically as a videographer.
- Must be passionate about serving people and working collaboratively.
- Must be comfortable working in a Microsoft environment.
- Must be proficient in using Sony Cine cameras.
- Must be proficient in color-correction in a Sony S-log environment.
- A Part 107 drone license certification is preferred but not required.
- Position requires above average creativity and a proficiency in Adobe Premiere and/or Adobe After Effects.
- Knowledge of other professional video suites such as DaVinci Resolve and Topaz Labs Video AI a plus.
- A working knowledge of Adobe Audition preferred.
- Position requires the most up to date knowledge of general lighting, camera operation and capturing audio for video.
- Position requires above average patience and a drive to work collaboratively with a variety of departments and team members to discover creative solutions together.
- Experience using Asana for project management is helpful but not required.
- Excellent organizational skills with demonstrated strong project, time management and multi-tasking abilities are a must.
- Willingness to work a flexible work schedule, including some evenings and weekends, is needed.
- Must be able to lift and carry items (up to forty pounds) for long periods of time and/or extended distances.

This role focuses on aligning the city's brand with its community values, enhancing resident and stakeholder engagement, and building local advocacy to support tourism and economic growth.
Successful candidates must have:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in brand strategy, community engagement or placemaking, preferably in tourism or economic development.
- Passion for promoting Oklahoma City as a destination, and a curiosity for experiencing the city as it grows and evolves.
- Experience in managing creative, branding and research agencies or consultants.
- Compelling writing and storytelling skillset.
- Strong understanding of destination marketing, public-private partnerships, and civic engagement.
- Proven leadership in managing multi-stakeholder projects and cross-sector collaborations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; adept at storytelling and public speaking.
- Strong organization and problem-solving skills with the ability to develop innovative solutions and new initiatives that move our destination forward.
