2020 DC Visit

Join fellow business leaders on a two-day trip to Washington, D.C., Wednesday, April 29 and Thursday, April 30, to advocate for pro-business legislation.

Each year the Greater Oklahoma City Chamber strives to plan a visit to D.C. that aligns with our members’ needs and the goals of our organization. The 2020 trip will provide opportunities for members to interact one-on-one with other attendees, with members of the Oklahoma Congressional delegation and defense leaders.

Members of the Greater Oklahoma City Chamber experience a day on Capitol Hill at the 2019 DC Visit.

This annual event includes briefings with Oklahoma’s U.S. senators and congressmen and a reception on Capitol Hill with federal officials, key staff members of the Oklahoma congressional delegation and defense leaders on April 29. On April 30, morning sessions will cover specific areas of interest on issues critical to our community.

The intensive two-day trip holds valuable networking opportunities with Oklahoma City's top business leaders and policy officials.

Here’s what 2019 attendees said about the trip -

“In addition to the outstanding lineup of speakers, including every member of the Oklahoma congressional delegation, the Chamber provided access to Washington D.C.’s most iconic places. As always, the benefit of traveling with Chamber leadership and Oklahoma City business leaders was well worth the investment of time.”

“The trip was very beneficial, plenty of time to visit with government, military and Oklahoma's elected representatives in casual settings.”

“The Greater Oklahoma City Chamber visit to Washington D.C. is very well organized and it's impactful from a time and resource standpoint.”
