ABOUT THE CHAMBER:
The Greater Oklahoma City Chamber is the voice of business and the visionary organization in Oklahoma City. With over 4,000 member organizations, the Chamber strives to make Greater Oklahoma City one of America's most desirable places to live, work, play and visit. Chamber priorities include economic development, legislative action, community improvement efforts and involvement opportunities for local businesses.
Research Coordinator - Entry-level position serving as a resource of information about the Greater Oklahoma City region to the general public, staff and Chamber members. Advanced computer skills. GIS knowledge a plus. College degree in economics, public administration, economic development or business preferred.
Convention Sales Manager - Sales manager will work as a part of a team to sell Oklahoma City as a convention and meeting destination for associations and corporations. Degree in marketing, public relations, business or meeting destination. Minimum five years' experience in group sales. Prior experience with a CVB or a destination with a convention center is preferred.
Internships -- All internships will be part time and for credit; hours are negotiable. Parking will be provided.
All positions require completion of your junior year in college, maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale), have excellent written and oral communication skills and working toward a degree in a field related to the internship selected.
