Chamber Ambassadors play an important role in educating, enlisting and involving Chamber members in committees and activities.
Ambassadors are highly-visible through their support of the Chamber's work in the business community. You'll love the increase in your networking opportunities as you immerse yourself in the work of this program.
Ambassador Teams - The Chamber Ambassador program consists of 2 teams: The Member Relationship Team that focuses on strengthening the Chamber's relationship with its members; and the Networking team that focuses on strengthening Chamber members' relationships with each other. Each Ambassador selects to serve on one or both teams.
Chamber Ambassador Monthly Meetings - Each Ambassador team meets every-other-month in even-numbered months for networking and team-related trainings. Both teams come together in odd-numbered months to learn about the Chamber's initiatives. All meetings are luncheons from 12 -1 p.m. on a Thursday in varying locations in OKC.
Member Outreach Phone Bank - During our monthly Phone Bank, Ambassadors place calls to Chamber members to check-in on them and answer any questions they may have.
Grand Openings - Ambassadors receive Grand Opening updates by e-mail and have the opportunity to attend grand openings to show their support of new businesses. Ambassadors may volunteer to present the Chamber's framed certificate to the business owner during a Grand Opening.
Chamber Event Volunteers - Chamber events often rely on our Ambassadors to serve as volunteers. There are a variety of volunteer positions that cater to a variety of skills and personalities, and offer a great way to meet a lot of Chamber members.
Rise & Shine - Ambassadors host this semi-annual event for Chamber members who are interested in engaging with the Chamber and networking with other members.
