About Chamber Events

With more than 70 events throughout the year, attending a Greater Oklahoma City Chamber event is one of the best ways for you to take advantage of your Chamber membership. From informative event series and casual networking to community-wide signature events and industry-specific programs, Chamber events are your community connection.

Signature Events

The Chamber’s signature events are the perfect place to connect with high-level leaders while learning more about the biggest issues facing the Greater Oklahoma City region.

Annual Meeting

Annual Meeting focuses on the success of Oklahoma City and the Greater Oklahoma City Chamber. The chair of the Chamber gives a review of the past year’s accomplishments and a preview of future priorities.

State of the Aerospace Industry

At this annual luncheon, attendees celebrate the aerospace industry’s presence in Greater Oklahoma City and hear from government and industry leaders about growth opportunities and challenges.

State of the City

As the Chamber’s largest event, more than 1,500 local leaders gather at the State of the City luncheon each year to hear from the Oklahoma City mayor and be informed and inspired about Greater Oklahoma City.

State of the Economy

Each year at this luncheon, attendees hear directly from expert economists on trends in the local and national economy. The event includes a panel of local economists and a featured keynote presentation from a national economist on issues impacting the global economy.

 

State of the Schools

At State of the Schools, guests hear about ways to improve public education in Greater Oklahoma City and turn our public schools into a model for other urban areas.

Leadership Events

The Chamber’s leadership events are open to members of the Chamber’s Leadership Investors or Board of Advisors. To upgrade your membership to include the events below, please contact the Chamber’s membership team.

BOA Small Group Meetings

The Chamber hosts quarterly meetings for members of the Board of Advisors to allow the Chamber’s most engaged members the opportunity to discuss current community initiatives.

BOD/BOA Joint Meetings

Twice yearly, the Chamber’s Board of Directors and Board of Advisors attend joint board meetings, which feature updates and discussions about the Chamber’s key initiatives.

InterCity Visit

The Greater Oklahoma City Chamber conducts this benchmarking trip with members of the Chamber’s Board of Directors and Board of Advisors to evaluate Oklahoma City’s progress against competitive markets and identify programs and developments moving them forward.

Leadership Summit

This full-day summit is an informative, intensive and motivational event where more than 200 members of the Board of Directors and Board of Advisors focus on key topics of great impact to the Oklahoma City region.

Legislative Reception

This Chamber-hosted reception gathers elected officials to network and discuss key legislative issues with members of the Chamber’s Board of Directors and Board of Advisors.

Chamber Forums

Chamber Forum luncheons, held January through October, feature enlightening discussions around current issues that impact the Oklahoma City region.

DC Spotlight

With more than 500 attendees, DC Spotlight (formerly the fall Chairman’s Breakfast) provides an excellent opportunity to hear up-to-date information on federal issues impacting our region. Sponsors are recognized in front of city and state leaders. Attendees of the DC Spotlight will hear from a member of the Oklahoma congressional delegation while learning about federal issues that will have the greatest impact on our state.

DC Visit

The Chamber’s annual DC Visit is Oklahoma City’s opportunity to reinforce our priorities at the nation’s capital. By joining other community leaders in attending and sponsoring the annual DC Visit, local leaders can impact legislation that affects our community.

Elevate

With motivational speakers, breakout sessions and a closing reception featuring a chance to connect with other attendees, Elevate is designed to help you take your career to the next level, all with a distinctive Oklahoma City flair.

 

InternOKC

InternOKC, the Chamber’s professional development program for college interns, connects Oklahoma’s best and brightest college students with career development opportunities and information about beginning a career in Oklahoma City.

State Spotlight

With more than 500 attendees, State Spotlight (formerly the spring Chairman’s Breakfast) provides an excellent opportunity to hear up-to-date information on federal issues impacting our region. Sponsors are recognized in front of city and state leaders. Attendees of the State Spotlight will hear from a state elected official while learning about important issues that will have the greatest impact on our region.

Chamber Connection

Geared toward new members or people who are new to a Chamber member company, the Chamber’s Member Orientation highlights the history and current work of the Chamber and gives clear guidelines for how to best maximize your Chamber membership.
