How the findings of the START Coalition will help build COVID-safe communities.

Enlighten, a Greater Oklahoma City lunch-and-learn event, will provide small business networking and education resources exclusively to Chamber member businesses. Event topics will offer easily applicable and timely tips for small business owners and managers, including ways to increase your sales, build your network, become a better manager and more.

At the September Enlighten, learn how the findings of the START Coalition will help build COVID-safe communities starting with OKC.

Since May 2020, Oklahoma City researchers have been at the heart of the work being done to reopen communities safely in the midst of a global pandemic. The START Coalition - an interdisciplinary research effort between the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation, OU Health Sciences Center and other distinguished experts from Harvard, Stanford, Duke and Purdue - is addressing COVID-19 by designing practical ways to prevent the spread of the virus. The end goal is building COVID-safe communities, starting with Oklahoma City.

Members of START will present the latest scientific findings and actions focused on safely mitigating the spread of COVID-19 which will enable businesses to maintain a safe environment for their customers and employees, with an opportunity for an audience Q&A immediately following.
