State of the Aerospace Defense Industry

Description:

Aerospace plays a key role in the Greater Oklahoma City economy.

At this annual luncheon, we will celebrate the industry's presence in the Oklahoma City region and hear from defense and industry leaders about growth opportunities and challenges. Speakers will include Lt. Gen. Lee K. Levy II, commander of the Air Force Sustainment Center at Tinker Air Force Base, and Richard Sullivan, vice president and B-2 program manager from Northrop Grumman Military Aircraft Systems.

Tickets for members are $40 and $60 for nonmembers. Tables of 10 are available for $600.

Keynote speaker John Ratzenberger famously portrayed Cliff Clavin on Cheers, and is now an outspoken advocate for American manufacturing and skilled labor. He will highlight the importance of skilled trades and training of Oklahoma City's next generation of skilled workers.

Program begins promptly at 11:15 a.m.

A panel of Republican and Democratic leadership will discuss issues that affect local businesses.

This annual event offers the perfect opportunity for Chamber members to meet area legislators and have a voice on the issues impacting the business community.

Registration begins at 7:30 a.m., program begins at 8 a.m. The event will take place on the second floor of the Cox Convention Center.
