According to the latest unemployment data from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, the Oklahoma City MSA had an unemployment rate of just 2.9% for July. This represents the 2nd lowest unemployment rate in the country for metros with more than 1 million in population. Salt Lake City edged out Oklahoma City for the top spot with a rate of 2.8%.

The long-awaited 44th Annual Paseo Arts Festival is taking place on Labor Day Weekend, September 4 and 5 from 10 a.m. - 8 p.m. with live music until 10 p.m., and September 6 from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.
