 The Greater Oklahoma City Chamber's annual State of the Economy event highlighted Oklahoma's economic outlook, workforce development, and fiscal policies in the context of President-elect Donald Trump’s incoming administration. The event featured a keynote by Andrew Busch, economic futurist and former Chief Market Intelligence Officer for the U.S. government.

The 2024 By the Numbers report from the Greater Oklahoma City Chamber shows that the region continues to experience significant growth and economic expansion.

Life Science Oklahoma, the state’s life science association, recently announced Michelle Gregory as its Executive Director. Gregory has a long history of leadership in the nonprofit space, including leading several nonprofit organizations in the healthcare sector.

To help businesses in the Greater Oklahoma City region access the talent they need to grow, succeed and sustain a national presence, the Greater Oklahoma City Chamber helped establish Oklahoma’s first chapter of the Federation for Advanced Manufacturing Education (FAME) program. This national program combines academics and hands-on training to equip students with the skills needed for high-demand, globally competitive manufacturing careers.

A research study conducted by Tourism Economics revealed that in 2023, Oklahoma City welcomed 24.1 million visitors, resulting in an annual economic impact of $4.5 billion.
