Stand Tall, Shop Small for OKC this July

July is the slowest shopping month for small businesses. It’s for that reason the Greater Oklahoma City Chamber, through its “Stand Tall, Shop Small for OKC” campaign, is urging people to purchase from local small businesses as much as possible.

“Supporting our local small businesses, especially during the summer months, is good for the entire city,” said Chamber CEO and President Christy Gillenwater. “I don’t think it’s a big secret that small businesses are the lifeblood of our community, creating most new jobs and providing crucial tax revenues that help keep our region thriving and growing. So, let’s all do our part and help provide a needed boost to our small businesses, not just in July but throughout the entire year.”
