The Oklahoma National Guard’s Office of Public Affairs will release an e-book and companion video documentary today detailing the Oklahoma Army and Air National Guards’ involvement in the search, rescue, recovery and security efforts in Moore, Okla., following the May 20 tornado. Easter Seals Oklahoma is pleased to announce it has received a $40,000 grant from the Oklahoma City Community Foundation and its Opportunities for Children iFund grant program. The grant will be used to assist in funding the Peer Integration Program which will allow Easter Seals Oklahoma to increase its level of service to children with disabilities.

The Oklahoma National Guard is helping to lead a collaborative community-based effort to reduce the number of suicides among school aged children and young adults. The pilot project titled “T3-Time to Talk” will launch in four area school districts later this month raising public awareness and providing tools for the prevention of suicides among young people.
