The donation comes almost three years after Paycom employees helped fund its construction.

ENID, Okla.-- Sparq Renewables, The City of Enid and NextEra Energy Resources, LLC today celebrated the groundbreaking of the Scissortail Renewables project, a new renewable natural gas (RNG) plant that will harness methane from household waste into clean, renewable energy for Enid residents. This public-private collaboration is the first municipally-owned landfill in Oklahoma to produce pipeline-quality renewable natural gas. The Scissortail Renewables facility will be located at the Enid City Landfill.
