OKLAHOMA CITY – Bill Peterson has been named vice president of human resources for Mercy Health Center.
In this role, Peterson will be responsible for all initiatives and day-to-day operations of human resources and employee health for Mercy Health Center, Mercy Hospital El Reno and Mercy Hospital Logan County.
"Bill is an integral part of Mercy Health Center leadership,” said Becky Payton, Mercy regional vice president of human resources. “His commitment to our co-workers’ well-being is inspiring.”
Peterson joined Mercy in 2005 as director of human resources. Peterson was promoted to executive director of human resources in 2010. He earned his bachelor’s in economics and finance from Fairleigh Dickinson University in Florham Park, New Jersey, and his Master of Business Administration from the University of North Carolina in Charlotte, North Carolina.
