OKLAHOMA CITY When Goodwill Industries of Central Oklahoma officially opens its brand new retail store in Ada, Okla., at the Grand Opening March 2, it will also introduce its newest Job Connection Center.

When someone is having a hard time finding a job either because of a disability, poverty, lack of education or previous work experience, Goodwill is there to help. Goodwill does that by selling donations in Goodwill stores and using the revenues to fund job training and career advancement programs like the Job Connection Center.

The Job Connection Center is an employment resource center, open to the general public. No appointment or referral is necessary. It provides free access to resources that can be helpful in finding a job. Goodwill staff can help develop a resume, perform online job searches and submit online job applications. The Job Connection Center also offers GED test preparation resources.

Goodwill will provide free food and door prizes at the Grand Opening, and 106.5 Boss FM will be there, live to broadcast the event.
