Learn about efforts and ideas for reform to improve education in Oklahoma during the annual State of the Schools event hosted by the Greater Oklahoma City Chamber. This year's program will be from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Aug. 20 at the National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum, 1700 NE 63. The State of the Schools addresses the Chamber's education initiatives as well as challenges at the Legislature, in classrooms and on campuses.
Don't miss hearing from the new superintendent of the Oklahoma City School District, Robert Neu or Mike Petrilli, executive vice president of the Thomas B. Fordham Institute. Petrilli, a nationally recognized expert one educational policy and reform, will focus on how Oklahoma City businesses can get more involved in education reform.
