Chamber Forum on Dec. 2 to address county criminal justice issues

Thursday, November 12, 2015

Join criminal justice experts and community leaders from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 2, to discuss many of the broader issues facing the Oklahoma County jail, criminal justice systems and the area’s prison population.

A panel of experts will discuss these issues and many of the tactics that our community can use to address the jail facility, sentencing reform, care for the mentally ill and more.  The event, to be held at the Skirvin Hilton Hotel, 1 Park Ave., also will educate attendees about successful programs in other communities that are redirecting people and funds away from incarceration and toward rehabilitation.

Tickets are $35 for members and $50 for nonmembers. Register.
