Lopez Foods Charity Golf Classic nears $1 million mark in money raised

The eighth-annual Lopez Foods Charity Golf Classic neared the $1 million mark in money raised since its inception and took place on Aug. 31. A long-time supporter of community outreach, this year's golf classic benefited the Ronald McDonald House of OKC and Oklahoma's Latino Community Development Agency. Approximately 125 golfers and volunteers representing approximately 35 different companies and individuals participated in the tournament. Tournament officials are still tallying the final amount raised for this year's event.
