About 40 Oklahoma companies joined more than 16,000 people from 74 countries at the BIO International Convention in Boston last week.
As the world’s largest biotech conference, BIO brings together a blend of researchers, manufacturers, investors and service providers in the areas of drug discovery, biomanufacturing, genomics, biofuels, nanotechnology, agriculture and cell therapy.

The Oklahoma City Council on Tuesday awarded a $168.2 million construction contract to Flintco LLC to build MAPS 3 convention center. Financed by the voter-approved, 1-cent MAPS 3 sales tax, the convention center is to open debt-free by June 2020.
