OKC ranked first for economic outlook, survey shows

OKLAHOMA CITY (Nov. 3, 2015) -- A new national survey for October shows that small-business owners in Oklahoma City ranked No. 1 among 62 cities this month for their feelings about current and future economic conditions.

In its monthly Small-Business Sentiment Survey of more than 15,000 small businesses nationwide, Thumbtack found that Oklahoma City small businesses the most optimistic about the economy, based on metrics that include current and future economic conditions, profitability, credit availability, inflation, job creation and other metrics.

The study is the first of its kind to regularly survey on a national basis the economic views of small-business owners.
