OKLAHOMA CITY, Nov. 17, 2014 – National Geographic Traveler has named Oklahoma City one of 20 must-see places in 2015. The publication sites OKC as the “pride of the plains” and highlights the Boathouse District, as well the revitalization of Automobile Alley and MidTown.

Community events highlighted in the National Geographic story include The Oklahoma City Memorial Marathon, deadCenter Film Festival and Oklahoma Regatta Festival. Local treasures featured include the Colcord Hotel, Myriad Botanical Gardens and Chesapeake Energy Arena.
