The Chamber’s DC Visit has been canceled for 2020 due to uncertainties related to corporate travel, mass gatherings and the course of the COVID-19 outbreak in the D.C area. The event was previously scheduled for July 29-30. We look forward to traveling in 2021 to put forth a strong presence in our nation’s capital.
Each year the Greater Oklahoma City Chamber strives to plan a visit to D.C. that aligns with our members’ needs and the goals of our organization. The 2021 trip will provide opportunities for members to interact one-on-one with other attendees, with members of the Oklahoma Congressional delegation and defense leaders.
Members of the Greater Oklahoma City Chamber experience a day on Capitol Hill at the 2019 DC Visit.
This annual event includes briefings with Oklahoma’s U.S. senators and congressmen and a reception on Capitol Hill with federal officials and defense leaders. On the second day, sessions will cover specific areas of interest on issues critical to our community including a military defense briefing. Attendees will learn more about legislation that impacts local business and hear directly from our Oklahoma congressional delegation.
The registration fee includes one night’s hotel stay at The Dupont Circle Hotel, official events, most meals and some transportation to and from programmed events. Air travel to and from Washington, D.C. is not included, giving attendees the option to extend their stay for additional business in the area.
Online registration will open in early 2021.
The Chamber will book your room at The Dupont Circle Hotel through our block. Additional room nights will be available at The Dupont Circle Hotel for $366 per night (inclusive of hotel tax).
