Public Relations Manager -This position is responsible for enhancing the image of the Greater Oklahoma City Chamber through execution of a pro-active media relations program and for writing and preparing / managing content for publications, websites, videos and presentations; and for editing content developed by other staff members and freelance writers. Degree in marketing, communications, journalism or related field. Minimum two years of related experience. Skills in Word, Excel. PowerPoint, InCopy and/or InDesign.
Executive Meetings Manager - The executive meetings manager provides a combination of convention sales and sales support to include promoting the area as a meeting and event destination. Position will also provide backup support to the sales team and some administrative duties for the Director of Sales and VP. Degree and two years hospitality industry experience. Proven skills in account management, direct sales and sales presentation (written and oral). Strong communications skills.
All positions require completion of your junior year in college, maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale), have excellent written and oral communication skills and working toward a degree in a field related to the internship selected.
