Communications Manager - The Oklahoma City Convention and Visitors Bureau currently has a position available for a creative individual with a background in marketing and communications. Position requires a degree in marketing, strategic communications, journalism or related field plus a minimum of two years' experience in a professional environment performing similar duties. Ability to write journalistic style - AP style preferred. Position serves as lead for developing earned media and communications strategy to promote Oklahoma City to media and social media influencers at tradeshows and other pitching efforts.
Business Development Manager - The Greater Oklahoma City Chamber is seeking a business development manager to add to its business recruitment team. The manager’s primary goal is to encourage the creation of new jobs and capital investment to improve the overall economy of the greater Oklahoma City region.The manager will serve as a contact for inquiries, engage area partners, prepare proposals and develop itineraries for client visits and administer a series of events, outreach initiatives and company engagements.The manager will assist in promoting Oklahoma City to site selection consultants through building relationships. The manager will also participate in call trips and prospect visits as well as trade shows and conferences. Degree in relevant field such as business, marketing or economics. Three years of experience in business outreach, sales, project management or other relationship management-related roles.
CRM Database and Sales Coordinator - Coordinator works with the Vice President of Sales and the convention sales department to administer the basic functions of the Oklahoma City Convention and Visitor Bureau's web-based customer relationship management software to fulfill the Bureau's mission of short and long-term strategic sales and convention marketing objectives. Position provides administrative support to the sales team and other areas as assigned. Two or four-year degree preferred. Extensive computer knowledge and skills (including database). Experience with hotel industry or DMO software a plus. Above average communication and grammar skills. Ability to write effective reports and business correspondence. Strong analytical skills.
