Employment Opportunities:

Media Relations Coordinator - Responsible for local media relations, including identifying and acting on media opportunities and responding to media inquiries, coordinates interviews and news conferences as needed. Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism or related field.  Minimium two years experience in related field. Ability to write in journalistic style.   Knowledge of AP style required.

Visitor Information Services Supervisor - Responsible for operations of visitor services and information outlets.  Degree in tourism, marketing or communications preferred.  Experience in hotel or attraction promotion.   Direct supervisory experience, preferably some experience with volunteer coordination.  Must have a professional demeanor and appearance.  Position requires ability to lift and carry 35 pounds for purposes of maintaining stock of brochures and visitor information.


All internships will be part time and for credit; hours are negotiable. Parking will be provided.

All positions require completion of your junior year in college, maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale), have excellent written and oral communication skills and working toward a degree in a field related to the internship selected.
