ABOUT THE CHAMBER:
The Greater Oklahoma City Chamber is the voice of business and the visionary organization in Oklahoma City. With over 5,000 member organizations, the Chamber strives to make Greater Oklahoma City one of America's most desirable places to live, work, play and visit. Chamber priorities include economic development, legislative action, community improvement efforts and involvement opportunities for local businesses.
Sales Coordinator (Convention and Visitors Bureau) - Coordinator works with the Vice President of Sales and convention sales department to fulfill short and long term strategic sales and convention marketing objectives. Extensive computer knowledge and skills with ability to learn specialized software required. Experience with hospitality or DMO software a plus. Minimum three years administrative support experience required; hotel/hospitality industry experience preferred. Ability to work well and diplomatically with a variety of personalities.
All internships will be part time and for credit; hours are negotiable. Parking will be provided.
All positions require completion of your junior year in college, maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale), have excellent written and oral communication skills and working toward a degree in a field related to the internship selected.
