ABOUT THE CHAMBER:
The Greater Oklahoma City Chamber is the voice of business and the visionary organization in Oklahoma City. With over 4,000 member organizations, the Chamber strives to make Greater Oklahoma City one of America's most desirable places to live, work, play and visit. Chamber priorities include economic development, legislative action, community improvement efforts and involvement opportunities for local businesses.
Director of Marketing and Digital - Digital-first marketer supports the implementation of economic development, human capital/workforce development and organizational marketing programs. Strong experience creating and implementing marketing plans, digital marketing initiatives and event planning and execution. Experience exhibiting and marketing at national or international trade shows. Knowledge of economic development or membership organizations preferred. Bachelor's degree in marketing, mass communications or related field. Five or more years' experience in a related position.
Social Media Coordinator -- Entry level social media coordinator supports the efforts to promote Oklahoma City as a visitor and convention destination by assisting with the strategy, execution and community-building efforts of social media for the Oklahoma City Convention and Visitors Bureau. Degree in marketing, communications or related field - social media emphasis preferred.
All internships will be part time and for credit; hours are negotiable. Parking will be provided.
All positions require completion of your junior year in college, maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale), have excellent written and oral communication skills and working toward a degree in a field related to the internship selected.
