Last month, three Greater Oklahoma City companies were honored by Fortune magazine as some of the "100 Best Companies to Work For" in the U.S. Not only did these companies make this impressive list, but they were included in the top 50.

You may have noticed a few more retail options springing up in Oklahoma City these days: Whole Foods. Anthropologie. Sunflower Farmers Market. Over the past few years, new retail has arrived – or staked out a spot – in Oklahoma City's expanding market. And it's not hard to understand why.

It has been a year since the citizens of Oklahoma City spoke up for our future and approved MAPS 3. While we are certainly anxious to see these projects begin to take shape, it is important to look back at the City’s first MAPS program to see how careful planning and deliberate process were a big contributor to the effort’s success.

Vote No to Crippling Our State

SQ 744 would make working together nearly impossible by requiring 56 percent of our state’s budget be spent on common education. That is equal to four and half times the budget for the Oklahoma Department of Transportation, almost twice the entire DHS budget and more than $120 million more than the entire Public Safety and Judiciary budget.
