Ted Moore Auto Group
Oklahoma City, OK, November 8, 2017 – Ted Moore Auto Group has signed up six of its automotive dealership stores to collect food for the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma this holiday season. The food drives will be held in the stores at Lawton Kia, Lawton Chrysler Jeep Dodge RAM, Edmond Hyundai, Fiat of Edmond, Stillwater Honda Cars and Barry Sanders Supercenter from November 27 to December 21.
Each week, the Regional Food Bank provides enough food to feed more than 136,000 Oklahomans living with hunger. During the holiday season, there is an increased need among the majority of Oklahomans served by the Regional Food Bank including chronically hungry children, seniors living on fixed incomes and hardworking families struggling to make ends meet. That, combined with a desire to give back to the community, drove Ted Moore Auto Group to support the Regional Food Bank this year.
Because the auto group has businesses in most major metros in the state of Oklahoma, Emily Taylor, Marketing Director for the dealership group, feels that it can be a powerful contributor for the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma.
“We are very excited about the potential of this drive and the positive impact it could have for many of our fellow Oklahomans,” Taylor said. “Each dealership is donating the food it collects directly to the food pantries of its city, so our neighbors will benefit from our efforts. This is just one of the ways we work to give back annually.
Ted Moore Auto Group also donates to other nonprofits in Oklahoma, awards teachers at Bixby Public Schools for being acknowledged as Teachers of the Month and recently partnered with the Girl Scouts of Western Oklahoma to teach automotive education.
