WalletHub has named Oklahoma City as the third best city in the country to work for a small business.
The online website of financial resources and tools assessed small businesses' friendliness toward employees and job seekers within the 100 most populated U.S. metro areas. To rank the cities with the best small-business working environment, the website used 11 key metrics, ranging from net small-business job growth to industry variety to earnings for small-business employees.
Oklahoma City ranked second for its "small-business environment" and 21st for its "economic environment," which is also Oklahoma City's rank among best cities to start a business, resulting in numbers that placed it third overall.
