A member of the Oklahoma City School Board has announced she doesn’t want to serve a third term on the board, but there’s a chance she could still be elected.
Gail Vines has represented District 2 for the past eight years and said she has enjoyed the work. She told fellow board members at a meeting this month that she only filed for a third term because she thought she was running unopposed. But after meeting her opponent, Justin Ellis, she said she endorses him to take her spot.
