Consultants unveiled plans Thursday for Oklahoma City’s MAPS 3 urban park that aim to strike a balance between natural landscapes, man-made amenities and sustainable land use.

The Oklahoma City Community Foundation recently launched GiveSmartOKC.org, central Oklahoma's powerful online resource to inform, empower and enrich charitable giving. The free-to-use, searchable website features detailed information about nonprofits in an eight-county area in central Oklahoma.

The five-year grant, awarded by the National Institutes of Health, will allow scientists to build on current studies into joint and connective diseases and support and fund pilot projects.
