Intense adrenaline rushes, boredom, fear, longing, sadness, euphoria and even tremendous remorse for lost friends are all a part of war. It doesn’t seem to matter whether you saw action at Anzio or in eastern Afghanistan, Soldiers of all generations share a common bond, really a brotherhood, others can only try to imagine.
