OKLAHOMA CITY – Carl Edwards has been named president of the Oklahoma Business Roundtable.
Edwards will direct operations of the organization and provide strategic assistance to state leaders and economic development partners.
The Roundtable search committee included Bryan Gonterman, chairman; Bill Burgess, vice president; Rhonda Hooper, secretary-treasurer; Don Walker, past chairman; and Tom Maxwell, past chairman.
Edwards is founder of Price Edwards & Co., a commercial real estate service company.
Edwards serves as chairman of the Presbyterian Health Foundation, a local foundation that owns and operates a bioscience research park at the Oklahoma Health Center. He is chairman of the Oklahoma Metropolitan Area Public Schools Trust, better known as the MAPS for Kids Trust; and is completing a two- year term as chairman of the Greater Oklahoma City Chamber. – Staff report
