About 1,200 people on Thursday attended the Greater Oklahoma City Chamber's Annual Meeting, where a panel of key Oklahoma City leaders discussed the successes and challenges they faced as they put in place the initiatives and organizations that have spurred the city's current renaissance.

The panel, moderated by Chamber Chair David Rainbolt, BancFirst Corporation, included former Gov. Frank Keating, former Oklahoma City Mayor Ron Norick and J. Larry Nichols, executive chairman, Devon Energy Corporation.

The Chamber also debuted a new video that features sweeping shots of Oklahoma City and interviews with various community and business leaders about the city's renaissance and the "Legacy of Leadership" that has led to Tinker Air Force Base, the successful Metropolitan Area Projects (MAPS) and key developments in the city's history.

“I think if there are positive things to be said about Oklahoma City then the Chamber should share in the credit. You cannot look at this city’s history and not acknowledge that the business community has been there every step of the way.” Mayor Mick Cornett said in the video.

Others appearing include Steve Lackmeyer, The Oklahoman; Chamber President and CEO Roy H. Williams; retired Lt. Gen. Bruce Litchfield, former Air Force Sustainment Center (AFSC) commander at Tinker; Randy Kampco, President Kampco Foods; Josh Parsons, financial representative of Opes One Advisors; Mary Melon, president and CEO of the Foundation for Oklahoma City Public Schools; John Richels, vice chairman of Devon Energy Corporation; Cayla Lewis, executive director of The Plaza District Association; and Chamber Chair David Rainbolt, BancFirst Corporation.
