“This is the highest honor we have to give a business,” said Kitt Letcher, President and CEO of the Better Business Bureau of Central Oklahoma. “It takes a company’s full team to participate in this award process because we look at everything. We look at how a business exemplifies honesty, integrity, and trust in the marketplace. We have never received so many public nominations for a company… Stacy has done an amazing job and we’re proud to give the award to Levant.”
Since 2003, Levant has grown its business through word-of-mouth marketing and an emphasis on personalized coding and programming for their clients. The company has worked with a variety of nonprofit organizations, as well as small, local ‘mom and pop’ businesses, and even large corporations or venture capitalists in Silicon Valley. In just the last six years, the firm has grown from a team of four to a full time staff of 17 spanning from Florida to Chicago.
“Levant is a company that can make your ideas and dreams a reality,” said Dr. Gracie Branch, the Associate Executive Director for the Cooperative Council for Oklahoma School Administration (CCOSA). Levant designed CCOSA’s website, along with their database and event management system.
“With the capability of designing a custom-made system, Levant can give you exactly what you need,” Branch said. “Their staff is extremely professional, customer-service oriented and thorough. It has been a personal pleasure and rewarding experience working with them and our association has benefited immensely from this partnership.”
Although Levant is primarily known for app and website work, the company has recently expanded to include content creation options for their clientele, including a Norman-based photography studio for customer headshots and a staff writer for web content development.
Eads said these options empower businesses by providing them with professional resources and training to ensure they know how to modify and edit their own web content in the future. She said the company’s willingness to go above and beyond what is necessary has allowed the company to develop many strong business partnerships.
“Our business provides leadership team coaching at the highest level of leadership within an organization,” said James Roberts, CEO of iDynamx, who has maintained a seven-year partnership with Levant.
“The data we rely on is personal and confidential and it must be both absolutely correct and accessible 24/7,” he said. “There has not been even one instance of breach since we moved our business to Levant. The systems and processes they have developed prove themselves every day—a key indicator of a partnership as compared to a simple business transaction.”
In addition to the Torch Award, Levant Technologies has been voted the best website design company five years in a row by okc.BIZ and the Oklahoma Gazette. The company was also recognized at the Business Excellence Forum and Awards with nominations in the categories of Best Community Impact, Best Customer Service in the USA and Best Overall Business.
When presented with the Torch Award, Eads thanked the Oklahoma business community and Levant’s customers for years of support. She also congratulated and thanked her employees for the quality of their work.
“None of this would have been possible without the Levant staff,” Eads said. “Every single individual is like family to me. Really, this award is for them.”
