Join the Greater Oklahoma City Chamber, the region’s leading economic development organization, for the annual State of the Economy event as they examine the regional and national economies and discuss how they will impact area businesses.
On Thursday, Nov. 19, from 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m., attendees will hear from keynote speaker Vivek Wadhwa, fellow of Singularity University and Stanford Law School, director of research at Duke University and syndicated columnist for The Washington Post. Wadhwa will discuss technology’s impact on the modern world and how the United States can remain competitive in the face of growth in India, China and Latin America. A panel of local economists will then discuss the strengths and challenges of the regional economy.
Tickets are $50 for members and $75 for nonmembers. Register.
