NEWS RELEASE OKLAHOMA CITY, July 29, 2015 – Boeing today broke ground on a new 290,000 square-foot facility with space for approximately 800 employees. The new structure, the third in Boeing’s existing campus, will open in summer 2016 and house employees working in engineering, research and development laboratories, and some support staff.

Mercy Participates in National Clinical Trial to Develop Blood Test to Detect Breast Cancer

Mercy Hospital Oklahoma City is part of a current clinical trial aimed at developing a blood test that could detect breast cancer and help doctors decide whether or not a patient needs a biopsy or additional imaging tests. Dr. Alan Hollingsworth, medical director of the Mercy Women's Center in Oklahoma City, hopes the clinical trial and the additional research work he’s conducting will find the much-needed answers to make quicker, more effective diagnoses of breast cancer to save lives and prevent patients from undergoing unnecessary biopsies.
