Breaking Through Luncheon to Explore the Bioscience Sector of OKC

OKLAHOMA CITY, August 13, 2011 – Attendees of the Greater Oklahoma City Chamber's Breaking Through Luncheon will learn about the bioscience industry in Oklahoma City, one of the region's fastest growing economic sectors. On Wednesday, August 15 from 11:30 a.m. until 1:00 p.m., Dr. Stephen Prescott, president of the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation (OMRF), will moderate a panel discussion on the research happening in Oklahoma City and its potential impact on public health and the area's economy.
This event will be held at the Research Tower of OMRF, 825 NE 13th Street, giving attendees a chance to tour the facilities where scientists are developing more effective treatments for human disease.
